I just bought a Nintendo DS. Are there any D&D-licensed games available for DS or Advance that aren't Eye of the Beholder? Does Eye of the Beholder suck as much as I think it does?

Thanks for the heads-up, I figured that was the case. Sadly, no PSP is in my possession, or my near future, now that I've bought the DS. As sexy as Tactics is, I already have a device that plays MP3s/videos/image files and a PSP can't receive incoming phonecalls. That and my wife wanted Nintendogs.

Just looking at the 'Dogs booklet, my wife is hankering for Tetris. I'd like to get some Peach on myself.

Nope. DS could be a brilliant platform for D&D-based games, but developers keep silence...

Honestly, if Eye of the Beholder is the same Eye that was released countless eons ago on the PC, I have nothing favorable to say about it. It was a "classic first person" (think Doom) perspective game, where you wandered endlessly through a completely mundane dungeon, occasionally running into a monster, at which point the game became "mash attack button really fast."

I recall playing a good halfway through and having almost no story to speak of (then again, maybe it did. I've tried to block the trauma out of my mind) and found it horribly, painfully, boring.

Close, it's the same Eye that was released eons ago for SNES.
