Has there been any books in 3.5 that have tired to bring back the hand and eye of Vecna and the Sword of Kas?

They're all in the DMG. I don't know of any relelvant adventures though.

Yeah, they're in the DMG, under Artifacts. They haven't (to my knowledge) been worked into any module or anything else. Just staple items that players feel should be Core and kept that way.

The Hero of Horrors mentions a possible adventure of a NPC having the Hand, Eye, and the Sword of Kas getting quite a extra powers. Though this is just a little blurb it has no stats or anything to it.

I forget if you see the Hand/Eye/Sword of the Die Vecna Die! book, I hated it so much I never got it or read it. For those that don't know its the last adventure made for 2nd edition. Look it up on Wiki if you want more info. It’s a horrible adventure in my opinion.

Beyond that there are some mentions of the Hand or Eye being found in Living Greyhawk, for example Halmadar the Cruel of the Shield Lands found both the Hand and Eye for a while. Anyways not many artifacts from the core book have ever made it into my game, most of the time I make new artifacts that fit with the storyline or the setting.

Anyways I hope that helps some!

Not books per se. But the October 2006 issue of Dragon has an article on Vecna, and sometime before that, during the "Age of Worms" adventure path in Dungeon, a Vecnan priest showed up wielding the Hand.

I knew it was in one of the books thank you :) I couldn't remember if it was Die Vecna Die or Vecna Lives.
