I have Complete Adventurer on order, but my campaign's starting tomorrow, and my wife wants to run a Scout. Could somebody post the minimum info needed to create a Scout at 1st level?

BAB
HD
Class skills/number of skill points
Saves
1st level ability (skirmish, +1d6 if he moves 10', right?)
Armor/Weapon proficiency

Any other abilities or requirements?

This is actually helpful. Read all of it

Step 1: Go to Amazon.com
Step 2: Search for "Complete Adventurer'
Step 3: Click on the book in the search result
Step 4: Click on the 'Search inside this book' under the thumbnail of the book
Step 5: Enter 'Scout"
Step 6: Select a likely search result (Page 8, in this case)
Step 7: log in, if prompted to. Or create an account, if you don't have one.

Voila.

You get limited page views per book, per month, in search results, but this works.

(Or, the shorthand, since I just did the same.

Medium BAB, Good Reflex saves, 8 skill points a level, skirmish(1d6) and trapfinding at first level, d8 HD, lots of skills, including (from the errata) Disable Device but not Open Locks, Light Armor, Simple weapons, hand axe, throwing axe, short bow and short sword.

But, there's soimething about teaching a man to fish.)

I don't have the book (and therefore the information) at hand, but you might try starting with this article from the D&D site. I think it has some of the numbers listed.

Additionally, look here for the scout character sheet that has more of the information as well.

(skirmish, +1d6 if he moves 10', right?)

Erratad to be "if he moves so that he ends 10' from where he started".

Be a little careful with the scout class...when you mix this with rogue and fighter levels, it gets a little sick a little quickly. There is a Dwarven fighter/rogue/scout in my game who is a damage beast.
