Looking for ladies to review our book.
6th-Jun-2006 11:35 pm
Greetings True Believers, I am currently in need of reviewers for my newly released Book of the Unliving. It is a modern day urban fantasy rpg set within the modern world using real world mythology. It was written by Steve Brown , an alumni of the Old World of Darkness. I have put a call out for reviewers on RPG.NET but I thought I would put one out here for the specific type of reviewers I am looking for. I am seeking women to review our book. I really am looking for a women's perspective on how they feel about our product lines as I am trying to bring more women into the hobby and I figure the best way to do that is to find out what women think about our current product line.

If you are female gamer and would like a free copy of our product to review please let me know here.

* Preference would be given to established reviewers, women who have written reviews before and I know can write up a farily professional review.

* The reviewer is free to post the review where ever they like but I would highly suggest the following sites: RPG.NET Gaming Report.com Flames Rising

There will be only two slots initially but others may open up in the future.

Please feel free to spread the word to other lists. -

The Everlasting is it's own stand alone system.

It has guidelines for all manner of dice but primarily focuses on d12, playing cards and tarot cards.

You write a review of one of our products and place it on a major review site and I will give store credit for our other product lines ( I will have a more formal announcement about this on the site in the coming days).

We have a free online game for The Everlasting on our website if you want to try it out.

Just ask your local game store to order some copies. They should be able to get it from their local distributer.

I would love to review this book. Urban fantasy and mythology are two of my biggest passions.

A little about me:
My name is Heather. I'm 23 with a B.A. in Creative Writing. I've been a gamer girl since I was 14. My love of games has lead me to put my Master's on hold for awhile to work as the Games Manager at a store on the southside of Atlanta.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at:

8th-Jun-2006 01:23 am (UTC) - Female Gamer
As it happens, I am a female gamer and I'm extremely interested in reviewing the product. I have at least four years of experience with D&D 3.5, a few years of experience with D20 Modern, and currently I am employed as a news journalist in rural Minnesota.

I have written many reviews in my time, albeit mostly for my college newspaper; my newspaper doesn't do movie and book reviews, unfortunately.

I have BA with English and Philosophy majors.

Please e-mail me at clytemnestraofatreus@yahoo.com if you accept my application. I would be very happy to review the piece extensively.
