Dracanomicon?
(For 3.5 DnD, or for 2nd ed AD&D)

(There may also be a little in Book oif Exalted Deeds)

I concur, Droconomicon, or else the 2nd edition Fiend Folio if I remember correctly.

:o.

How do you define large?

If you have access to 2nd Ed material, you might take a look at Monster Mythology. There was a nice section on dragon deities there. He was the main one, as I recall.

I'm not sure if the Draconomicon might have what you seek as well. I haven't picked that one up.

I don't remember..is he featured in deities and demigods? or if he's linked to FR, Faiths and Pantheons, or the FR campaign setting....

The only info I have on him is in the dragonomicon, and he's not in any of the FR books.

Yes, he's in Deities & Demigods.

I must have missed that...

He's not in Faiths and Pantheons at all. Tiamat is, but Bahamut isn't even mentioned.

Draconomicon FTW!

Races of the Dragon also has a bunch of good info, though it may be duplicate (haven't taken time to compare the two). The lore behind the Dragonborn uis particularly interesting.

Thats close to what I am looking for. Do you know where I may be able to get the over all stats?
30th-May-2006 06:54 pm (UTC)
Like a statblock so the PCs can fight him directly? Are you running some sort of Epic Evil Godslaying campaign?
30th-May-2006 07:03 pm (UTC)
I do need a stat block, but not so my gamers can fight him. My god that would be something I would never want to fight.
30th-May-2006 07:52 pm (UTC)
The Aspect of Bahamut is in the D&D Miniatures book, as well as the upcoming War of the Dragon Queen expansion for the miniatures game. It's a toned-down avatar sort-of.
30th-May-2006 08:27 pm (UTC)
Why do you need a statblock?
30th-May-2006 09:14 pm (UTC)
Well 2 reasons. I need a better idea of what he can do for a campaign. and It would be cool to have
30th-May-2006 11:11 pm (UTC)
*shudder*

I'd lean towards "whatever you need him to do for your campaign" and not bother with a statblock.

I'm not a "statblocks for deities" type of gamer for most campaigns, though.

The only reason you'd need a statblock for a deity is if you're running an epic campaign and the deity is helping your party fight the evil deities or whatever.

There is a NPC in the game I'm running that has the blood of Bahamut. So I need to know breath weapons and a few other things.

Just go with a cone of fire, a bit of DR or natural armor, and you're set.
31st-May-2006 04:24 pm (UTC)
I found what I was looking for
31st-May-2006 04:37 pm (UTC)
Congrats. Post an update sometime to let us know how it works out, eh?
31st-May-2006 10:15 pm (UTC)
Fire? I'd say cold. Although platinum is a little bit like gold AND silver...maybe a cone that does both fire *and* cold damage? Like 3d8 of each? Something to consider, anyway.

He has 3
cold
a gas one
and disintegrate

The Complete Divine has some.

The Draconomicon might, I'm not sure.

Deities and Demigods ought to.
