Your favorite fantasy characters in DnD?

Ok...something for fun now.

Seeing as how we have all been given Warduke (YAY!!!) in the recent War Drums set I was wondering if any of you have created your favorite fantasy characters for DnD.

I'm currently working on a few ideas for Link. Any suggestions from the gallery?

I play NWN online quite a bit, and have at times created my own PCs and romped through a server that allows user created servers (so you can make a legal PC and play it in some servers as opposed to starting out at level 1) just for fun. Today I was thinking of what would Link be like in NWN.

The rules?
30 point buy
Standard DnD races only

With Link I was thinking this:
Rogue 14/Fighter 6

begining stats:
Str 14
Dex 16
Con 12
Int 14
Wis 10
Cha 12

I tried to create Garriet (from the "Thief:The Metal Age" computer game)

Could someone tell me who Warduke is? Also, I don't see Link as being that much of a Rogue. He's got minor magical aptitude and have a penchant for musical instruments, maybe he's got a level of Bard instead of all that Rogueness.

And Indy is tricky, since he's not in a fantasy setting. He's easy to make in d20 Modern though. Garrett form Thief is practically a D&D rogue. I think I made a post last year about the Thundercats. Final Fantasy Cahracters up to FF6 are fun to make in D&D, but after that d20 Modern works better (excluding FFIX).

The Thundercats? I'd have to archive dig, but I could. The rest is just off the top of my head.

FF characters

Good, because I can't find the Thundercats post. But FF stays fantasy enough that you can still use D&D up to a point, after that you would have to rely on d20 Modern.

I made Jesus back in the day, and Sanguinas, from WH40k

I bet this is already a post here, but what would Jesus be? Probably a 17th-level cleric, unless Lazarus lost a level when he came back...

Nope. He only did that once. Usually he did some minor healing and lecturing. I'll see if I have a chatacter sheet, but he's a half-celestial human clr5/Brd6, in my humble opinion. He cast resurrectuion from a scroll, I'd daresay.

Oooh, interesting point about the talking!

Is it just me, or do NPC's (like Jesus there) tend to hover around level 15 or 16 when being created?
