I watched a friend play part of the beta. I can't really say anything about it because of the NDA, but let it just be said that I won't be rushing right out to buy it unless I hear of a lot of things recieving attention.

What is character development like? I'm worried its going to be crappy and such. :( That is if you can discuss it :D

I wasn't impressed with the DDO game. It had some things that were really nice and exciting (the way that they captured character classes, the fact that you can use any item on any class ... but you gee minuses on some things, and the fact that any character can become any class)

but they have a lot of things that they need to really improve upon (the colors were all blending together ... very drab, the whole game is instance based ... you don't have any free exploring outside of any dungeons, and it was kind of hard to find the people that give out some quests and all)

On dragons, they're a fat bundle of complicated rules in the game normally, I imagine it might take a good deal of extra work to get them to operate faithfully in an MMORPG. And it's set in Eberron, right? Dragons are pretty reclusive there anyhow.

#2: No Druids or Monks at this point (more than likely due to possible multi-class exploitation)

#3: No PrCs.

Why spend all that time attempting to develop a character when you'll have to remake it anyway when the limits are removed? Seems pointless. Players should -never- be used as test subjects.
