epic hmm
theres a demilich (divine caster level 27)
they have DR 30/everything, magic immunity, this one has ac 51, saves that basically automatically succeed on will, decent fort. still good but the worst of all ,reflex. a good number of hp
the only spells it is affected by are shatter, holy smite and dispel evil

my question to you guys is can you think of an epic spell or not too convuluted strategy to destroy/subdue the demilich?
the epic spells cannot directly harm it bc of its sr and its magic immunity

this demilich is cr 37 if it matters
oh and it is a tomb warden which is immune to turning when it is in its tomb

Epic teleportation seed to the plane of positive energy?

antimagic field would only protect against its spells not harm it at all in the descriptor it says it has not effet against golems or undead etc.... i have antimagic shield for the foe of the demilich already since it is useful against its spells.
melee bashers mightnot affect it with such a high ac

transport seed requires a will save which would almost always succed
but i liked that idea i hadnt thought about it

A 35th level basher can easily hit an AC 50.

35th level fighter has +35 BAB, +5-10 from str, +5-10 from specialization and magic weapons... so he should hit at least 50% of the time with his primary attack.

So as dariusdraven said, a paladin with smite evil and a holy weapon should do pretty well.

Anti-magic field wouldn't strip off all its defenses? How much of that 51 AC can possibly be NOT Supernatural?

Anyway, protecting against its spells and magical attacks should render a floating skull ... heheheh ... toothless.

what i was thinking about more was like summoning a sphere of stone around it and mutating the stone so you could cast spells trhough it and see through it with out the demilich being able to.... since then he cant use his sight based trap the soul ability.

also making it avoid reflex saves such as being caught between massive shifts in the tomb walls...

Give a few 30+ level paladins holy two-handed maces and have them smite evil a whole lot?

Don't Hulking Hurler levels to use ranged power attack to throw a mountain at the lich. Or the tomb into the Abyss. Or about 10 miles straight up.

You took out the Werewolf Lord part :( lol.

And with other feats like Monkey Grip and Wield Oversized Weapon(epic feat) it only gets worse, much worse.

I had a very similiar character in my campaign, and unfortunately, he had to be retired...prematurely. Due to sheer campaign balance.

the person who directly assaults the lich would a mummy drow (scout/priest) so he doesnt have a fighter's combat abilities or anything but he does have epic spells

he doesnt haev access to psionics anyway even if i gave the demilich psiresistance...

im at school right now so ill have to check on the forcecube and walls of stone... this lich can cast three spells a round so i think it might be pretty hard to get past him

If you have a specific party or set of abilities that are available, you may want to mention that. There are many possible ways, but that doesn't mean they're actually possible with your party.
