*drool* Druids can wear dragonhide full plate, since it's not made of metal, mmmm.

Assessment:
In the magical world of 3e, Fargus Chainready makes a disarm attempt with his spiked chain upon a hapless warrior with a longsword. He doesn't have Improved Disarm yet, so he provokes an attack of opportunity, but he's 10' away, so the longsword can't touch him. A Spiked Chain is Large versus the Medium longsword, so Fargus gets +4 on his opposed roll.
His roll is d20+4(size)+2(disarm bonus)+attack bonus with spiked chain
versus d20+attack bonus with longsword.
If the defender had a greatsword, Fargus loses his size bonus and the defended gets a two-handed bonus of +4.

In the magical world of 3.5, Fargus Chainready makes a disarm attempt with his spiked chain upon a hapless warrior with a longsword. He doesn't have Improved Disarm yet, so he provokes an attack of opportunity, but he's 10' away, so the longsword can't touch him. Fargus is using a two-handed weapon, so he gets +4 on his opposed roll.
His roll is d20+4(2-hander)+2(disarm bonus)+attack bonus with spiked chain
versus d20+attack bonus with longsword.
If the defender had a greatsword, the defender gets a two-hander bonus of +4, and Fargus loses nothing.

Fargus sees a brighter day and goes to town on guys with bigger weapons.
