The Bible?

Has anyone ever used the Bible for inspiration for a campaign? I personally have found some great stuff, such as...

Revelations
Chapter 12

12:1 A great sign was seen in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.

12:2 She was with child. She cried out in pain, laboring to give birth.

12:3 Another sign was seen in heaven. Behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven crowns.

12:4 His tail drew one third of the stars of the sky, and threw them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child.

I can think of many campaigns worth of stuff from that.

That's some good stuff...

okay, more seemingly daily questions to pick your brains about. Please be specific with quotes on this one, I've been tearing my books and the SRD apart and can't find the answers. Please use 3.5 examples (i know in 3.0 you had to make a reflex save vs. dc 20, but I make that as long as I don't roll a 1, and that's not stated anywhere in 3.5)

1. If I have multiple attacks (say 4), and I attempt a grapple with my first attack, can I attempt to pin with my second? If I am successful, can I then use a natural attack immediately?

2. How does a monk deflect an arrow? I can not find a single reference anywhere in any book that says what dice I need to roll, what check I need to make, or ..well, anything? Does it automatically work now?
