I understand.
Okay, here's a plot for yuh. An Ogre Mage polymorphed into an old lady bumps into the elf ranger and decides that the elf didn't apologise profusly enough. Next morning after a night of heavy boozing, the elf is rudely roused by the Watch who demand he explain why there's a dead hooker in his bed. To his surprise, there is a dead hooker in his bed. To make matters worse, she's not really a hooker, but the Earl Marshall's daughter who was turning tricks to rebel against her authoritarian father. She is really dead, tho. Elf leaps out the window and makes a run for it. Warrants are issued to the rest of the party for aiding and abetting and they make a run for it. Their only clue is what the elf noticed on the way out the window. The girl was killed by having her head turned all the way around. It was done by someone strong, ogre strong. They have to clear their names or the Earl will hunt them to the ends of the earth. Mayhem ensues.

We might be able to get the creative juices flowing. I've noticed when I speak with other world-builders, my mind suddenly lights up.
