Magical Wes Animated
I'm sure this has been posted before, but I think this stuff rules!

This guy is great... go read the rest of this series by clicking on the picture!

A link would be more appropriate, I think. Failing that, can you use an LJ-Cut?
27th-Jan-2005 06:25 pm (UTC)
hmmm... do you think ass-wipe isn't work safe or something?
27th-Jan-2005 06:43 pm (UTC)
No, I just don't want to have to load this image everytime I load my friends' page, and I don't want to have to scroll past it every time I want to find an entry.

Is that unreasonable?

But then, I've been a big fan of OotS since before that strip was published ;)

Well aren't you just the LJ snob! So I take it that text > graphics? :)

but seriously, it's not a huge image, bitwise or pixelwise.. if I had written twenty lines of text describing it, it could take up the same space... I won't say it's unreasonable to ask to have it put behind a cut, but it does seem a little weird to think that all images should be put behind a cut in a group with no image posting rules listed in the community info. But maybe I'm the weird one, here... won't be the first time.

You do have awfully good taste in icons, though! :) Want the version of my icon sans-name?

Personally, I think it's big enough to warrant a cut, but that's probably mostly because it's "old news". I might feel differently if I wasn't already a fan.

No big deal, either way, I suppose.

As for the icon, as big a fan as I am of Magical Trevor, I'm already using my alotment of 50 icons. So I'll pass, thanks.

Having thought about it, I could replace this icon. So go for it.

the jokes about 3rd ed rules are hilarious. i love the one where the cleric misses then realizes he hit because of rules he forgot, and the one where they switch from 2e to 3e rules.

My biggest problem with Oots is that you can't get an LJ feed for it, so I can look at it on my friends page.

That would be awesome. Otherwise, this series rocks. Just as good as KoDT IMHO, though in a different way.

Yes! an LJ Feed of OotS would be awesome indeed...
27th-Jan-2005 08:20 pm (UTC) - Bad rules though
A character's movement can only provoke one AoO a round from a character, so even with combat reflexes you can't exploit the same opportunity twice.
27th-Jan-2005 08:35 pm (UTC) - Re: Bad rules though
So he can only make an AoO every three seconds. I think the comic still works with that limitation.

Round 1: Stab
Round 2: Argue
Round 3: Stab with witty comment explaining it.

but then his use of Combat Reflexes is moot

The kobald has one level of monk, his flurry of blows was active?
