Midnight setting info?

Hey folks,

What books in the Midnight line-up are good for exploring the setting of the game?

I'm not really looking for new/expanded d20 material (although it is fine if that is also part of the product), but I'm mostly looking for information on the characters, lands, history and other elements that describe the world of Midnight as a setting.

Thanks,

Matt

Wouldn't the primary campaign setting book be the obvious choice to start?

The core campaign book is the obvious choice to start with. (2nd Edition has more information and is 3.5-edition-specific.)

I also recommend for fluff Under the Shadow, detailing Baden's Bluff. Heart of Shadow, Legends of Shadow, and Hand of Shadow (as well as City of Shadow) will give you a lot more information on Izrador, the Night Kings, and the role of evil on Aryth. Obviously, the race-specific sourcebooks like Star and Shadow, Hammer and Shadow, Honor and Shadow, and Destiny of Shadow, are good fluff for the specific race.

I also direct your attention here: http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/midnight/index.html

Enjoy Midnight.
