Is there in existance a race spec sheet for Half-dwarf? I'm using them in my game, and was about to make it up, but if it's already out somewhere.... why not get it there?

used to be in darksun. they called them mul, pronounced mule, because they were infertile, like a cross between a horse and a donkey. they were very strong, stocky humans with no hair basically. and i think they could rage like barbarians or something.

i do recall the mul from days of old in darksun(what a wild campaign setting!). I was hoping something more recent had been released.... and maybe not so savage and alien.

nothing recent that i'm aware of. you start mixing it up to much and you end up with a campaign full of dwelves, gnomelings, gnelfs and half-halflings.

half-halflings lol!!

Actually, I personally hate both gnomes and halflings, so i leave them out of almost all of my games. Yes, I know, that's very limiting, but eh, screw it. I hate 'em.

In this world, dwarves came to the surface long ago, and have been living with and among humans ever since. A mixing of the races is bound and the differences should be as slight as half-elves.

As I recall, half-elves basically have half the abilities of normal elves (and then the human ability of having any favored class). Why not do the same thing with dwarves?

i probably will, I was just lazy and hoping to copy and paste for the website..

In 2nd edition at least, half-elves were defined as anything that had both elven heritage and human heritage. So even if you're only 1/32 elf, you'd still be considered a half-elf.

a Dragonshards article I read recently said that half-elves that breed with humans or elves always breed true half-elves

Half elves are literally half human, half elven... if your 3/4's human and 1/4 elven, then you are human, if your 3/4's elven and 1/4 human, then your elven... thats the official stance on it.

Need I mention that Dragonshards is produced the the creator of the Eberron setting through the WotC site?

I believe Derro are humand and dwarven offspring, though I'd read more on the subject if I were you.

Indeed, Muls exist, although they can't procreate. I think the general feling is that half dwarves would either be human looking, or just dwarven looking.

Muls were given some basic information and stats in a recent Dragon Magazine article. Issue #319

However, if you really wish to look for more information, check out Green Ronin's Bloodlines and Bastards manual. It pretty much covers everything.
